    4. These Terms of Service are applicable for any individual making a purchase of products or services from this Portal, as well as anybody visiting this Portal.

  2. Terms, Definitions, Understanding & Interpretation
    1. For the purpose of these Terms of Use, wherever the context so requires “You” or “User” shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a buyer on the Website by providing Registration Data while registering on the Website as Registered User using the computer systems. TGBI allows the User to surf the Website or making purchases without registering on the Website. The term “We”, “Us”, “Our” shall mean Cotton Closet Ltd. or TGBI.
    2. “TGBI or Cotton Closet Ltd.” will include its employees, suppliers, content providers and advisors of Cotton Closet Ltd.
    3. “Business Day” means any day of the week other than Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in the Republic of Mauritius;

    5. “Intellectual Property” means, collectively, the patents, copyrights (and moral rights), Trademarks, designs, models, brands, names, trade names, graphics, icons, hyperlinks, Know-How, trade secrets and any other type of intellectual property (whether registered or unregistered including applications for and rights to obtain or use same) which are owned by, licensed to, used and/or held (whether or not currently) by Cotton Closet Ltd. on or in connection with this Portal;
    6. “Know-How” means all the ideas, designs, documents, diagrams, information, devices, technical and scientific data, secret and other processes and methods used by TGBI in connection with this Portal, as well as, all available information regarding marketing and promotion of the Products and Services described in this Portal, as well as all and any modifications or improvements to any of them;
    7. “Products & Services” products, devices, accessories, content, any other products or services which may be offered by Cotton Closet Ltd. on the Portal;
    8. “Trade Marks” means those trademarks owned by companies within Cotton Closet Ltd and any other trademarks, designs, logos, style names and slogans which Cotton Closet Ltd/TGBI either owns or has the right to use or any derivative service offerings of, and applications for, any of same;
    9. “Portal Material” means the contents of this Portal, including without limitation, all and any information, data, documents, Intellectual Property, material, products (including software) or services contained in, accessed through, or downloaded or obtained from this Portal;
  3. User Eligibility for registration, membership & capacity to contract
    1. You hereby warrant to Cotton Closet Ltd that you have the required legal capacity to enter into and be bound by a contract to make any online purchase on the Portal under the laws of Mauritius. You warrant that you are 18 (eighteen) years or older. If you are a minor i.e. under the age of 18 years, you shall not register as a User of the TGBI website and shall not transact on or use the website. As a minor if you wish to use or transact on website, such use or transaction may be made by your legal guardian or parents on the Website. TGBI reserves the right to terminate your membership and / or refuse to provide you with access to the Website if it is brought to TGBI’s notice or if it is discovered that you are under the age of 18 years.
  4. Your Account 
    1. If You use the Website, You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Display Name and Password and You shall be responsible for all activities that occur under your Display Name and Password. You agree that if You provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or We have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with the this Terms of Use, We shall have the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate or block access of your membership on the Website and refuse to provide You with access to the Website.
  5. Communications & Behavior while using the portal

    3. By registering & accepting these Terms of Service, you acknowledge and accept to receive promotional advertisement from TGBI from time to time.
    4. Pricing on any product(s) as is reflected on the Website may due to some technical issue, typographical error or product information published may be incorrectly reflected and in such an event TGBI may cancel such your order(s).
    5. TGBI reserves its right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against a user who files an invalid and/or false claims or provides false, incomplete, or misleading information. In addition to the legal proceedings as aforesaid, TGBI may at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name of such user and/or disqualify that user and any related users from availing protection through this program. Any person who, knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud or deceive, files a Fraudulent Complaint containing false, incomplete, or misleading information may be guilty of a criminal offence and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

    1. This Portal is controlled and operated from the Republic of Mauritius. The parties agree that these Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
  8. Indemnity
    1. You release and indemnify Cotton Closet Ltd/TGBI and/or any of its officers and representatives (its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates) from any third party claims, cost (including, but not limited to, legal fees), damage, liability or other consequence of any of the actions of the Users of the Website and specifically waive any claims that you may have in this behalf under any applicable law. Notwithstanding its reasonable efforts in that behalf, Cotton Closet Ltd/TGBI cannot take responsibility or control the information provided by other Users which is made available on the Website. You may find other User’s information to be offensive, harmful, inconsistent, inaccurate, or deceptive. Please use caution and practice safe trading when using the Website. Please note that there could be risks in dealing with underage persons or people acting under false pretence.

Cotton Closet Ltd views protection of Your privacy as a very important principle and undertakes to protect the information provided by the Customer in compliance with the Data Protection Law of Mauritius. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk. If You object to Your Information being transferred or used in this way please do not use Website.
    3. Cotton Closet Ltd will receive and store any information the Customer enters on the Portal or provides in any other way. Cotton Closet Ltd shall use the information that the Customer provides for such purposes as responding to his requests, customizing future shopping for him, improving its services and products, and communicating with him/her.


  1. Purchasing products online on the portal
    1. The Customer must be a registered Customer – a user having an account on our website to be able to make online purchases and payments.
    2. For all sales in Mauritius Payment for Products & Services shall be made in local currency (Mauritian Rupee)
    3. Before shipping / delivering your order to you, We may request you to provide supporting documents (including but not limited to Govt. issued ID and address proof) to establish the ownership of the payment instrument used by you for your purchase. This is done in the interest of providing a safe online shopping environment to our users. You have specifically authorized TGBI and or its service providers to collect, process, facilitate and remit payments electronically.
    4. You understand, accept and agree that the payment facility provided by TGBI is neither a banking nor financial service but is merely a facilitator providing an electronic, automated online electronic payment, receiving payment through 3rd party online payment gateway networks. Further, by providing Payment Facility, TGBI is neither acting as trustees nor acting in a fiduciary capacity with respect to the Transaction or the Transaction Price.
    5. The Customer can choose from the following payment methods at the moment of placing an online order:
      1. Online card payment using via the payment gateway
    6. Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the showcase price.
  1. Communication on transactions (whether successful or failed)
    1. A confirmation including a receipt of the transaction (the “Transaction Receipt) will be sent to the Customer‘s e-mail account upon successful online payment for Products & Services purchased.
      1. The Transaction Receipt will have a unique identification number to the transaction.
      2. The Customer’s bank card/account number will not appear on the Transaction Receipt.
    2. The Customer can view order history of his account at all times by logging into ‘My Account’ accessible on the Portal.
    3. You, as a Buyer, shall electronically notify Payment Facility using the appropriate TGBI Website features immediately upon Delivery or non Delivery within the time period as provided in Policies. Non notification by You of Delivery or non Delivery within the time period specified in the Policies shall be construed as a deemed Delivery in respect of that Transaction.
    4. The Buyer and Seller acknowledge that TGBI will not be liable for any damages, interests or claims etc. resulting from not processing a Transaction/Transaction Price or any delay in processing a Transaction/Transaction Price which is beyond control of TGBI
  1. Refund Policy
    1. No refunds are granted if the cancellation of order is made by the customer – however the customer may wish to exchange the item at the any TGBI store within 48 hours of delivery
    2. Full refund or store credit will be given to the customer in case of cancellation by TGBI due to any internal problems.
  1. Replacement Policy (Definition: Replacement is the action or process of replacing something in place of another. A Buyer can request for replacement whenever he is not happy with the item, reason being Damaged in shipping, Defective item, Item(s) missing, wrong item shipped and the like.)
    1. Buyer need to raise the replacement request within 48 hours from the date of delivery of products. Once Buyer has raised a replacement request by contacting Us on 58879044. Once the replacement request has been raised, the following steps shall be followed
      1. Buyer is asked for “Reason for Return”. Among others, the following are the leading reasons:
        1. Shipping was damaged
        2. Item was defective
        3. Item Dead on Arrival
        4. Item(s) were missing
        5. Wrong item sent
      2. In case the request for replacement for a different design or product, a restocking fees of 10% will be charged.

Free delivery in Mauritius

For orders more than a purchase value of MUR 3,999, delivery is free of charge and for orders less than a purchase value of MUR 3,999, a delivery fee of MUR 200 is charged. We endeavour to take a maximum of 1-3 days for the product to reach you.

Delivery Process

  1. Once the Customer places an online order, Cotton Closet Ltd commits to deliver the order within 1-3 business days.
  2. Should the product be out of stock Cotton Closet Ltd will immediately inform the customer by email or telephone and a full refund will be granted should Cotton Closet Ltd be in possession of the payment.
  3. To ensure safe delivery, the Customer must properly fill the delivery address, the mobile number and any specific instructions in the fields provided online.
  4. Cotton Closet Ltd Delivery Team will contact the Customer directly to notify him/her when the delivery of his/her order shall take place.
  5. Cotton Closet Ltd commits to deliver the ordered and available items within 1-3 Business Days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Should Cotton Closet Ltd not be in a position to deliver the Customer’s orders within the given time-frame (for e.g. in case of any force majeure), Cotton Closet Ltd shall contact the Customer immediately & notify him when the delivery of his order shall take place.
  6. In the event that the Customer notices a change in his availability with respect to receiving his ordered products, he must call Cotton Closet Ltd on 58879044 to notify the Delivery Team as soon as he reasonably can.
  7. The Customer needs to present his/ her identification document (National ID or Passport) to the officials during the delivery before accepting the delivery.
  8. The Customer must ensure and check that the product delivered is the right one at the time of collecting the order. A sales invoice indicating the amount paid by the Customer will also be provided to him upon delivery.
  9. The Customer will have to sign a Delivery Note acknowledging delivery of the products and need to check and ensure that his products are delivered sealed. For any issue regarding the delivered product, the Customer will have to inform Cotton Closet Ltd on 58879044.


  1. Our products are sold at the price advertised on the website at the time of your order. We reserve the right to change the prices at any time, prior to the confirmation of your order. All prices are listed in Mauritian rupees (for sale in Mauritius) .
  2. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your order and a delivery fee of MUR 200 will apply for orders have a total value less than MUR 3,999 (Incl. Vat). All Orders having a total value above MUR 3,999 will benefit from Free delivery.
  1. Buyer’s arrangement with Issuing Bank:
    1. All Valid Credit Card and other payment instruments are processed using a Credit Card payment gateway or appropriate payment system infrastructure and the same will also be governed by the terms and conditions agreed to between the Buyer and the respective Issuing Bank and payment instrument issuing company.
    2. All Online Bank Transfers from Valid Bank Accounts are processed using the gateway provided by the respective Issuing Bank which support Payment Facility to provide these services to the Users. All such Online Bank Transfers on Payment Facility are also governed by the terms and conditions agreed to between Buyer and the respective Issuing Bank.
  2. Disclaimer of Liability
    1. The material displayed on this Website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. Unless expressly stated to the contrary to the fullest extent permitted by law TGBI and its suppliers, content providers and advertisers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, damage to goodwill or reputation, or the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, performance or failures of this Website or the Linked Sites and any materials posted thereon, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution, by statute, at common law or otherwise.
